Archivarix is a solid file downloader at $10 per 1,000 files — and their own WordPress page states that when importing articles, the design of the original site is not copied, nor are the URL addresses of the articles. waybackmachinedownloader.com dumps captures into folders with dead forms and search. Do forms and search work?
Forms render but don’t submit (actions are neutralized). Search returns an empty results page — the archive simply doesn’t hold what’s beyond it.
Is the content exactly as archived?
Yes. Archived-wins: we don’t improve, rewrite or add anything.
What about pages the archive missed?
They’re 301 or 410 per a documented map. Nothing disappears silently.
What about the content rights?
We restore archives of domains you own. Rights to the content remain your responsibility.
